The last few weeks have been a bit fraught with technical issues which were finally tracked down to a dodgy cable. The cable in question is currently in transit and should arrive very soon.
Years ago it seemed a lot easier to record stuff on analogue. The hardwear was better built and things were just easier. For some reason I thought the digital age and recording would become really easy, especially with a Roland kit. Plug and play. Yeah right....
Anyway, despite my complaining and moaning I managed to deliver my tracks before the cable totally failed.
I've had so much fun playing about with a much less heavy track of late too. I've managed to record a rough take and the drums fit in well. Just needs a few changes. I'm looking forward to getting my replacement cable so I can get going on it again.
