What with teaching, writing songs for my new band (more of that to come) and restoring my first big drum kit I've been too preoccupied to update this blog.
The kit's going to look great when I get it finished though. Five more stands to sort out and some slight blemishes here and there on the toms and it'll finally be done! I've got three roto toms which are just the standard finished grey, which look ok but don't compliment the rest of the kit, so I'm thinking of getting the spokes custom painted just to make them look a little different.
Teaching is going well - really enjoying it.
